I was interviewed by Amazing Kids Magazine for their July/August 2014 issue. Here is an excerpt of the full interview.
AK!: Since our theme for July/August is “Digital Generation,” how has the internet helped you achieve your goals?
PHS: I am really glad that this is the theme! The Internet has been the single most important resource for my all my projects. I learned how to do legal work, accounting, computer programming, web design, publishing, writing, networking, marketing, and countless other skills, both small and large, that make me who I am. I truly think that if you are lucky enough to have access to the Internet you should never stop learning. I know I said that a lot, but learning is dismissed by so many people as boring or unimportant, when in reality the only way to succeed at anything is by continuously adding to and improving your knowledge base. The quote that defines this for me the best is Mahatma Gandhi’s: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” The Internet makes it so much easier to follow Gandhi’s words.
